Hi John,

Liberals in New York have not given up the fight to push socialized medicine on their citizens, and with the new administration, they believe they have a friend in the fight. Senator Gustavo Rivera, chairman of the Senate Health Committee, has planned to introduce a bill in the legislature that would ban private health insurance and force a government-run health care plan on New Yorkers.

Without consideration for egregious wait times, lack of access, and the hefty price tag attached, the Left consistently ignores the will of the people as they continue to force their agenda on Americans – an agenda that has government control at its foundation. I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised by this. Liberals around the country, like in California, incessantly try to strong-arm Americans into accepting a government-run health care option. Except it isn’t an option.

The Left wants the government-run “option” to be the only option. By pushing to eliminate private health insurance, they want this country to be more and more reliant on Big Brother.

Per usual, liberals have not done their research. They have not reflected on their copious failures of President Obama’s plan; they have not looked to the faltering socialized health care systems of Europe; and they refuse to acknowledge what a government-run health care plan would do to this country.

The saving grace of all of this is the conservative leaders who continue to fight back in these states. They understand that Americans should uphold their freedoms and liberties and have a right to make decisions freely without government intervention. Conservatives will never allow the government to intimidate people into oppression.

We will continue this campaign against socialism and control, and fight for the stability of our democratic system.

Sincerely,

Casey
