Good news and bad news, John. I'll start with the bad news:
NPR:
"The Supreme Court Is Expected To Make It Harder For People To Vote" |
I'll be honest, that headline is a punch to the gut -- especially on top of the 250+ voter suppression bills in state legislatures right now.
But the good news is we can overcome many of those voter restrictions with the For the People Act, which is currently awaiting consideration in the Senate. Can you make a donation to help us fight voter suppression by supporting the For the People Act and other voting rights legislation across the country?

I don't know what the Supreme Court will do, John. But I do know that we have to keep fighting for our rights -- and that's our plan at the NDRC.
When the Supreme Court's conservative majority ruled against federal limits on partisan gerrymandering in 2019, we didn't give up. We doubled down and helped win elections to bring more Democrats to the redistricting table.
That's exactly what we have to do again. The harder they work to restrict voting, the harder we push back not just to end those restrictions but to expand access so that every eligible person is able to cast a ballot without trouble.
I hope I can count on you in this fight. Will you pitch in today to help us pass the For the People Act and other voting rights legislation across the country?
Thanks,
Garrett
