Hey John -

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our E-Board Town Hall last week. It was great to hear from you and to answer your questions as we look ahead towards the rest of the year.

We’d like to take another moment to remember those who lost their lives in Atlanta last week. Anti-Asian rhetoric and misogyny must be dealt with and we stand in solidarity with the AAPI community. You can read our statement regarding the matter more closely here [[link removed]] . In addition, our heart aches for those lost in Boulder, CO on Monday. Mass shootings and gun violence can’t continue to be the norm and we must work to bring around reform to save more lives from being lost.

Finally, please remember to join us for our Women's Leadership Forum [[link removed]] tonight, March 23rd at 7pm. We'll be hearing from powerful women from various fields sharing their own experiences and advice.

AYD Fights Period Poverty [[link removed]]
In honor of Women’s History Month, AYD is gathering donations for BRAWS: Bringing Resources to Aid Women's Shelters [[link removed]] , an organization that provides menstrual supplies to women and girls in our community. A donation of $250 buys 25 boxes of pads or tampons for a PTA-sponsored school pantry, allowing students to access menstrual products discreetly.

Help us get to our $250 goal by April 9th! Give whatever you can afford, all donations help!

Venmo AYD: @ArlingtonYoungDems

If you don’t have Venmo, you can donate to BRAWS directly through their Amazon Wishlist [[link removed]] . Just make sure to send us a screenshot of your contribution so we can count it toward our goal!
