Friend,
Last month, we told you that Amazon workers in Alabama’s 7th District would be voting on their unionization -- and we have a huge update:

This is TREMENDOUS news, team. Rep. Sewell has been a longstanding advocate of workers’ rights, and it bodes well that the President of the United States has voiced support for workers in Alabama.
During a pandemic, it’s ESSENTIAL that we expand workplace safety protections, health care, and paid leave for employees. That’s why Terri voted YES on the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act -- and defended the right to collectively bargain and unionize.

Workers’ rights are human rights. Especially at a time when more people than ever are shopping online and getting home deliveries. The Amazon employees that make it all possible deserve to be taken care of.
Instead, Amazon has cut bathroom breaks and engaged in intimidation tactics against employees.
A union could change that. Unions help to uplift workers and improve the conditions they work in.

Not only has Joe Biden announced his support for the workers -- he has condemned intimidation tactics from employers. Because every worker should have the right to join a union without fear of backlash.
We want to show Amazon union organizers that they have a ton of support behind them. Will you sign on as a citizen co-sponsor of the PRO Act to stand with Joe Biden and union organizers in Alabama? [[link removed]]
Onwards,
-- Team Terri Sewell
