John -- Prominent Republican pollster Fabrizio Lee conducted a recent survey of Republican voters and identified five distinct “tribes” that have developed within the GOP.

We found these results troubling, as they suggest that even without Donald Trump in office, the GOP is heading even further to the right than it already is. Let’s take a look:

When you see these numbers, a few things become immediately clear. The majority of Republican voters still support Donald Trump’s policies of nationalism, xenophobia and white supremacy. And some believe the GOP should go even further to the right of Trump.

The GOP has taken advantage of corporations’ rampant economic oppression of Americans to craft seductive fascist narratives, placing the blame for these problems on immigrants and people of color. These are dangerous lies that have lethal consequences like we witnessed last week in Atlanta.

We must go to war with white supremacy. We must do everything we can to stamp it out.

That includes electing more progressives and working people. As long as ineffectual centrists maintain control of the Democratic Party, the GOP will continue to have a foothold to weave its lies.

We cannot allow a QAnon-Trumpish, far-right movement to expand its grip on our democratic institutions. We have to outvote this dangerous cult that is sending a growing number of its members to Congress, including the likes of Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor-Greene.
