Friend, we need to share this news with you immediately.

Nearly 90% of non-organic citrus fruit samples contain significant levels of imazalil – a chemical known to cause cancer – latest research by EWG scientists finds.

In fact, the average concentration of imazalil on peeled citrus fruits was about 20 times higher than EWG’s recommended limit to protect children’s health. But despite the concerning data, the EPA has taken little action to stop Big Ag from putting our kids’ health at risk by contaminating one of their favorite snacks.

Our children can’t protect themselves from imazalil, so we need concerned parents and activists to speak out now on their behalf. Will you add your name to our petition urging the EPA to take action on cancer-linked chemicals immediately? >>

“I urge the EPA to ban imazalil immediately. Hormone-disrupting and cancer-linked fungicides should not be used on any of children’s favorite fruits.”

Concern over imazalil has grown internationally in recent years, with the European Union and Canada currently evaluating restrictions on the cancer-linked fungicide.

But in the United States, the problem only seems to be getting worse: Fungicide levels on USDA-tested tangerines have risen since 2011. Now the level of imazalil EWG tests discovered on just one orange exceeds California’s safety standards.

As long as Big Ag continues to prioritize profits and coating citrus fruits with cancer-linked imazalil, our children’s health will remain at risk. That’s why we need to flood the EPA with calls to ban imazalil immediately.

Friend, you can help in just 15 seconds by clicking this link to sign our petition: https://bit.ly/3vKvgac

Together we will protect our children from cancer-linked pesticides.
