John, were you taught about these Pennsylvania women in history class?

• Crystal Bird Fauset: The first Black woman elected to a state legislature in the country, representing Philadelphia's 18th District in 1938.
• Lucretia Mott: A founder of the Philadelphia Female Anti-Slavery Society in 1833 and organizer of the famous Seneca Falls Convention in New York.
• Nellie Bly: A pioneer of investigative journalism and one of the most accomplished women in the history of American journalism.

Recognizing the countless women who were on the frontlines of the fight for justice in our past is how we can build a better future for all. That's why this Women's History Month, we're celebrating women who are too often written out of American history.

"When Women Succeed America Succeeds. Happy Women's History Month!"

Will you join Dwight in celebrating the changemakers, earth shakers, and glass ceiling breakers in Pennsylvania history? Recommit to the fight for equality for women today.

In 2021, American women still face gender bias and discrimination every single day. It's why Dwight is calling for the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment to guarantee women equal protection, payment, and treatment under the Constitution. And it's why we demand the Senate pass the Equality Act to enshrine and protect the rights of transgender women.

We aren't free until we're ALL free, John. So while we recognize the remarkable Pennsylvania women who came before us, we need to also examine the important fight for equality happening today.

Join Dwight in celebrating Women's History Month and recommit to the fight for justice and equality for all. Share on Facebook or tweet on Twitter.
