Since the Pennsylvania GOP confiscated all my legal weed and LGBQTIA+
pride flags AGAIN, supporters on Twitter have mailed me dozens of new
flags to hang from my balcony at the state capital.

So far, I’ve received over two dozen flags from *literally* all over the
country, and even one from Australia! This one below is one of my
favorites:

Look, John, I don’t know who
needs to hear this, but I don’t care about the sad, petty BS that the
Pennsylvania GOP pulls every time they send the flag police to remove my
flags. Nothing is going to stop me from defending legal weed and LGBTQIA+
protections under law.

I’m just gonna keep hanging my flags back up,
John, because they are more than just pieces
of cloth.

Let’s be clear: Marijuana prohibition is a grave racial injustice
perpetrated in our country. And discrimination against LGBTQIA+ people is
still legal. Those aren't things I'm willing to accept, and they're both
issues I'll fight like hell for as Pennsylvania's next U.S. Senator.

We must decriminalize possession, expunge all marijuana convictions in the
process, and immediately release anyone imprisoned on non-violent
marijuana charges. We also must guarantee equal protection under federal
law for LGBTQIA+ Americans. My flags signal to the world that this is what
we are fighting for.
