NOW on POV: Integrate.Me
"Integration for me is the ritual of action, the stillness of meditation, the repetition of movement."

This short documentary blends animation and live action to follow Tristan, a young adult who grew up queer, trans, and traumatized. After a childhood of constant tethering to their past and disconnect from the world at large, Tristan longed for an escape—any escape—including attempting suicide. Tristan took a chance on an experimental therapy that uses MDMA as a treatment device. We’re invited into their therapy sessions as Tristan learns to release their demons and find their authentic place in their community and beyond.

This film is part of Otherly ([link removed]) , a series of seven short documentaries about belonging, premiering on Instagram Stories.
