MONTANA LEADS IN VACCINE EQUITY
The pandemic exposed national health disparities as we witnessed devastating disparites in COVID-19 outcomes.

As a member of the Montana COVID-19 Vaccine Taskforce, I proudly advocated alongside state health leaders to prioritize Montana's BIPOC communities in the state's PHASE 1B vaccine rollout. At this time, Montana is the only state to prioritize BIPOC communities as a statewide policy.

Phase 1B rollout began in mid-January. A CDC report released last week acknowledged Montana and Arizona as national leaders in vaccine equity.
The disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on Tribal communities in Montana has inspired many to double down on their dedication to improving Native health, by furthering their own health education.

In partnership with Western Native Voice, we are excited to launch our Native Healthcare Scholarship program to support the next generation of Native health leaders.
Join us in equipping Montana’s Tribal communities for future public health challenges by supporting the next generation of Native health leaders!

Thank you for supporting our work to ensure more equitable health outcomes for all.
