It's World Water Day!

What does that mean? World Water Day is a United Nations observance day dedicated to recognizing, celebrating and safeguarding clean water.

At Save The Waves, we are dedicated to tackling water quality issues that threaten the health of surf ecosystems - from plastic pollution, sewage, industrial waste and toxic runoff.

Did you know that 1.5 BILLION phone cases are thrown away each year?

We teamed up with our partners at Pela and our Artist Ambassador Ethan Estess to highlight plastic pollution in our waterways.

Together, we created The Plastic Wave.

The wave is made up of just under 1,000 plastic phone cases, collected by Pela's 360 recycling program, showcasing just a small fraction of the plastic pollution created by phone cases each year.

Watch the video now! Plus, check out Pela for the more sustainable option for your phone and participate in the 360 program to recycle your old case.
