Across eight days in May, step back from your day-to-day to reconnect with PEAK colleagues and strengthen our community.

Together, we’ll examine and expand upon a pivotal and visionary year, and PEAK’s 25th in existence. Across keynotes and breakouts, we’ll look at how far the profession of grants management has come – its growing influence and responsibility, critical work in this moment to meet the challenges of our day, and evolving role as a change leader in philanthropy.

There’ll also be plenty of opportunities to connect with your peer community through chapter meetings, affinity groups, and communities of practice; plus wellness and music breaks, social hours, and more.

Engaging and Investing in Community

Get ready for a powerful kickoff: Philanthropic trailblazer and Black Voters Matter co-founder LaTosha Brown takes the mainstage where she will inspire you to claim and use your power and influence to build a movement for equitable practice within the organizations you serve.

Pamela Newkirk:
Beyond Diversity

On May 11, we'll hear from scholar, journalist, and Diversity, Inc. author Pamela Newkirk to explore how the principles of people and culture management build into creating workplace equity that will, in turn, diversify philanthropic leadership.

The Changing Face of Philanthropy

To close on a high note, PEAK's Satonya Fair will bring together a panel of foundation CEOs who are women of color to share stories about their career journeys, how they are utilizing their power as funders to best fulfill their organizations’ missions, and the ways in which they are reimagining how they are in relationship with their grantees and communities.

What's Ahead: May 4-13

We've got an exciting agenda planned, featuring seven mainstage events and four afternoons of breakout sessions, plus lots of opportunities to connect and self-organize with peers.

During the conference, we'll follow four learning tracks: listening to communities, supporting adaptable communities, learning with our communities, and creating equitable communities. Each of these tracks will empower you to examine the field through an equity lens in addition to telling the story of how grantmakers are....
