John, have you been paying attention to the mounting support for ending the filibuster? We told you last week that President Biden supports filibuster reform, and Mitch McConnell is getting nervous.
On Friday night, Senator Dianne Feinstein came out in support of filibuster reform — a huge step forward for ending the filibuster. Senator Martin Heinrich also said we should get rid of the obstacle to Democratic legislation in the Senate.
Thank you so much,
Justice Democrats

Subject: More momentum for ending the filibuster
John,
A lot has happened in just the last 2 days in our fight to end the filibuster. There’s a lot of momentum.
Yesterday morning: A very nervous Mitch McConnell took the floor of the Senate to defend the filibuster. He is desperate to hold on to the one thing that helps him block Democratic legislation right now. Without the filibuster, McConnell may not be able to block voting rights, climate change, and racial justice legislation.
Last night: President Biden said he supported reforms to the filibuster making it extremely difficult for Republicans to continue obstructing popular Democratic bills.
Now: We need to keep up this momentum. Only 15 Democratic Senators have said they want to end the filibuster so far. That means Senators like Kyrsten Sinema, Maggie Hassan, and Angus King (who voted against raising the minimum wage to $15) and many others haven’t made the critical call to end the filibuster and pass popular legislation with the Democratic majority.
In solidarity,
Justice Democrats
