John --
Let me start off by saying that being governor of Kentucky isn't easy. I know! My years in office were some of the most rewarding -- but also most challenging -- of my life. It's a tremendous responsibility, with millions of people counting on you every day to make the right decisions.
So as much as I love my son Andy, I wouldn't endorse him for governor if I didn't know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Andy has what it takes to do an outstanding job and make a positive difference in the lives of Kentuckians.
But to win, he needs your help today. With just ONE MONTH until the election, he needs to meet his $35,000 end-of-month goal to keep the momentum going. The great news: a generous group of supporters is MATCHING all donations that come in by midnight.
Will you chip in today to help the campaign get to $35,000 and win this for Kentucky?

I couldn't be prouder of the campaign Andy's run along with his running mate Jacqueline. They genuinely care about the people of Kentucky. And they've gone the extra mile -- or "miles" in this case -- traveling across the Commonwealth, meeting with hardworking people and sharing their plans to build the Kentucky we all know is possible -- with world-class schools, more good-paying jobs and affordable health care for everyone.
I hope you'll pitch in today to get Andy to his $35,000 goal. And don't forget -- today's the last day that your donation will be matched dollar for dollar, so don't wait.
