Early Spring is not just a time of hope for us here at MLFA, it’s also a time of reflection. It’s when we put together our annual report and look back on all we have accomplished during the past year.
Now more than ever, it’s clear that what we do is, in its very essence, a community endeavor. Yes, our primary focus is on the important work of protecting individual rights, but we’re also fully committed to bringing the entire community of American Muslims together in a focused effort to bring positive change to the world.
We wouldn’t want to do it any other way. It’s always been our vision to have all of our brothers and sisters come together in this fight. But the truth is, we also couldn’t do it any other way because it's the support we receive from people like you that makes every last bit of it possible.
The work we support at MLFA isn’t easy: It necessitates hours of dedication and commitment. It requires dogged perseverance. And it demands courage. But what it accomplishes in terms of civil rights and human dignity is worth every moment
and every penny spent in its pursuit.
