We want to be honest with you, John.
Our fundraising has slowed down this past week, and we’re getting a little nervous. Especially because at the end of the month, we have to submit our fundraising numbers for the end-of-quarter Federal Elections Commission filing deadline. This will be the first time we’re going to publicly report our finances since Cori took office in January.
Everyone’s going to be watching what numbers we put out. Political pundits, potential future challengers for Cori’s seat in 2022, and of course the GOP will be watching to see how much support Cori has and assessing the strength of our progressive movement.
If you've stored your info with ActBlue Express, we'll process your contribution instantly:
From adding amendments to the Violence Against Women Act that ensure survivors can access transitional housing to stay safe and rebuild their lives, to supporting the reintroduction of Medicare for All, and fighting for a $15 minimum wage — Cori has been busy fighting to lift up all of our families.
All of this work Cori is leading in Congress is powered by supporters like you, John.
That’s why it’s critical we keep our fundraising strong so she can remain focused on legislating, advocating, and organizing our movement. It’s also critical we send a strong signal at the end of the month that Cori isn’t alone in this fight: She has thousands of supporters who are fighting right alongside her to bring transformative change to our communities.
In solidarity,
Team Cori
