Republicans have always attacked Democrats for supporting immigrants fighting for a better future -- but somehow they've recently reached a new low.
“How much spread of COVID-19 is Biden creating every single day by his policies along his border?” asked House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy in a hate-fueled speech condemning the influx of immigrants and blaming them for the pandemic.
It's utterly despicable for McCarthy and his fellow Republicans to embrace this fear mongering against immigrants, many of whom are unaccompanied children, especially when the GOP is the reason that COVID is still running rampant through our country.
Now more than ever, we must channel our anger and disgust into action -- it's crucial that we re-invest in our diverse and progressive leaders who make our country so great. We elected more diverse progressive candidates than ever before in 2020, and we're more than ready to give a repeat performance in 2022.
No longer can our country afford to have such rascist and bigoted represenatives. We must replace these xenophobic legislators with progressive champions who will propel our country forward. We have the plan and the network to get there -- now all we need is you.
