John,
One week ago, I sent you an email to announce an important, ambitious project that Women's March is fundraising to take on:
With enough funding, our Digital Defenders program is going to launch a robust initiative to combat disinformation about the COVID vaccine, focusing our work specifically on women.
According to a survey done by National Geographic, only 51% of women said they were somewhat or very likely to take the COVID vaccine. That's why Women's March is focused on reaching women online, listening to their concerns about the vaccine, and combating disinformation by sharing the truth about the vaccines' benefits and safety.
Getting as many people as possible in our country vaccinated — and equipping them with the knowledge and information they need to feel confident in doing so — is one of the biggest hurdles facing our nation. That's why we need your help, John.
Women's March can only launch this COVID disinformation initiative with enough funding to get this program off the ground. We're still in urgent need of additional funding to make this initiative a reality, so I hope you'll chip in $3 or anything you can to fund this work today.
Everywhere we look, people are talking about vaccines — and in turn, there's a lot of disinformation out there about how safe they are for women, their effectiveness, and how to get vaccinated.
That's why WM's Digital Defenders is taking on this challenge head on. Digital Defenders, which has been one of our key efforts since 2019, is a training and organizing program focused on online 1:1 communication and deep canvassing.
With enough grassroots support, here's what Women's March's efforts to combat vaccine disinformation can look like:
This is important work that we can only do with enough funding, so please chip in what you can.
Thank you for being a part of this important project. Our work is only possible thanks to grassroots donors like you.

P.S. We're still in need of a lot more fundraising if we want to take on this initiative, so I'm coming to you to ask you personally: Can you pitch in $3 to fund our crucial work to combat online disinformation about the COVID vaccine? Any amount helps.
