The Joseph Connection

 
Dear Friend,

I pray that you had a blessed feast day of St. Joseph on Friday!  Keep invoking this great saint, for we are still in the octave of the feast day until Palm Sunday! 

Saint Joseph is the Patron of the Universal Church. To commemorate the 150^th anniversary of this declaration, the Holy Father has proclaimed a “Year of Saint Joseph” from 8 December 2020, to 8 December 2021. The timing of this commemoration couldn’t be better. 

As you know, there is a serious crisis of fatherlessness today. Countless boys and girls grow up without the loving protection and firm affection of a father.

Yet today's secular media campaigns are against traditional masculinity, labeling it toxic. This does nothing but worsen the suffering of wounded, fatherless souls in today's culture.

We need St. Joseph's powerful intercession more than ever!

As Catholics, we need to bring about a resurgence of authentic, heroic masculine virtue and sacrifice. Only then can we defeat the culture of death and immorality and build a Culture of Life, a Catholic Civilization.

God the Father, from Whom all authentic Fatherhood comes, has given us St. Joseph to be our model, guide, and protector during these strange and difficult times.

Just as St. Joseph protected Our Lord and Our Lady from the plots of Herod, he will protect you.

Let us Increase our Devotion to St. Joseph.
