Dear Harm Reduction Community,

We Are The Movement.

We’re kicking off the #HRWeekofAction tomorrow! This week, we’ve gathered some of our best and brightest organizers, advocates and harm reduction champions to share their notes from the field. Together, we can break down the silos that have separated us and build collective power.

In fact, we already have the power - we just need to learn how to harness it.

Here’s a reminder that you can access our Online Learning Institute for FREE, if you need a refresher, in preparation for next week and beyond. [link removed]

“When we intentionally create spaces to learn lessons from the past and to envision a world that is inclusive of all members of our movement, we build knowledge. If, during this Week of Action, we can amplify voices from our front line champions and provide opportunities for folks to engage and learn at the municipal, state and federal levels, we build power. Shared knowledge and power together? Wow. we’ll be unstoppable.” - Michelle Wright, Director of Policy & Advocacy

“The Harm Reduction Week of Action welcomes everyone in. If this is your first time hearing about “harm reduction” - Welcome! If you are in long-term recovery - Welcome! If you are a long-time harm reductionist - Welcome! We know that to win this fight, it’s going to take all of us coming together, bridging divides and moving towards a shared vision of a brighter world.” Ellen Glover, Campaign Director - Drug Policy, Harm Reduction and Criminal Justice - People’s Action
