Your prayers save more than babies.

Your prayers also save families. Many relationships don't survive the trauma of abortion.

A young man approached 40 Days for Life participants in Pedregal, Mexico to ask for help. His girlfriend was inside the abortion facility about to end the life of their child. But he wanted to keep the baby.

"Go inside and get her out," the volunteers advised him.

Not long after that, the man and his crying girlfriend left the abortion facility. Together they chose life...

...and decided to get married!

An abortion worker came outside to direct a disapproving gesture toward 40 Days for Life participants.

But that couldn't dampen their joy at having saved a baby and a relationship!

"We thank God for a life saved!" reported 40 Days for Life Latin American Affairs Coordinator Lourdes Varela.

Washington, New Jersey

An abortion supporter told peaceful prayer warriors, "You know this town doesn't want you here."

The same woman has been challenging the presence of 40 Days for Life volunteers for three years. But many other passersby indicate the pro-life presence is more than welcome.

Just minutes later, a voice cried out of a passing pickup truck, "Thank you so much for being out here; I want to join you!"

Jen, the local leader, said vigil participants receive many thumbs up and positive beeps.

Better yet: Planned Parenthood has cut its business days in half since Washington's first 40 Days for Life campaign in 2018.

Warren, Ohio

Seven young women and a baby spontaneously drove to Warren to join the local 40 Days for Life vigil.

"It was very powerful to see that many people at once," said Mary, who is leading her second 40 Days for Life campaign.

When a volunteer named Alan arrived to his prayer shift the next day, he got a treat: Planned Parenthood was unexpectedly closed!

"He prayed anyway near the deserted parking lot," Mary added.

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor.

Lord, you are the creator of all things. Guide my thoughts to consider your creation in all of its majesty, beauty and holiness. Guide my heart especially to your creation of precious human life. Help me to comprehend how essential life is in your own heart. Teach me to appreciate, love and protect all human life.
