"If we'd had guns I guarantee we would have killed 100 politicians. They ran off and were spirited away through their underground tunnels like the rats they were," texted Thomas Caldwell, a right-wing "Oath Keeper," just minutes after he attended the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection.

Caldwell, who had a leadership role in the right-wing Oath Keepers group that coordinated the insurrection, was just released to go home with 24-hour GPS monitoring.

The fact that a judge deemed Caldwell to not be a real threat to his community is a terrible sign for what's to come -- our justice system can't keep allowing white nationalists to easily re-enter our society. This goes to show that our fight to end Trump's legacy of extremism is far from over.

Caldwell is just one of THOUSANDS of white supremacists emboldened by Trump and his remaining GOP cronies, and as long as these alt-right extremists are still in office, white nationalists will continue to feel safe carrying out their plots. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and Madison Cawthorn are just some of these extremists up for re-election in 2022 -- and now that insurrectionists are being released while they await their trials, it's even more clear than ever that we have to get these white nationalists out of office.

2020 showed us that with incredible grassroots support, any election is winnable -- so we're going all in on ensuring these white supremacist-enablers suffer devastating losses at the ballot boxes in 2022.

Unfortunately, we saw these radicals fundraise unbelievable amounts at CPAC, so we know we're far behind in the race to win 2022. We're going up against big donors with unyielding allegiances to Trump, so it's going to be an uphill battle -- just to begin to meet their numbers, we're trying to raise another $3,150 by the end of week.
