A new Hill-HarrisX Poll has found that over 65% of Americans approve of how President Biden is handling the COVID-19 crisis while in office.
As more and more Americans are celebrating Biden's leadership, Republicans are calling on him to credit his pandemic success to Donald Trump, claiming that Trump is the only reason that Americans might see a return to normalcy -- despite Biden's vaccine rollout, his American Rescue Plan, and his return to listening to epidemiologists.
Even more despicably, the same Republicans who voted against the American Rescue Plan are also trying to take credit for it -- as if they weren't the greatest obstacle standing in the way of our country's recovery.
Trump and the GOP politicized masks, mocked scientists, doxxed public health officials, denied vaccine research funding, and voted down the party line to obstruct basic financial relief to the American people in their greatest time of need. Then they pretended they'd done the exact opposite when placed under scrutiny. It's time to make them pay for their deceit at the ballot boxes.
2022 is the best opportunity we're going to have to rid our government of these hypocrites for good, so we're going all in to ensure every obstructive Republican is held responsible for the 546,000 and counting Americans who have lost their lives to COVID-19.
