President Biden, the first lady, Vice President Harris, and the second gentleman are crisscrossing the country to spread the word about the American Rescue Plan.
 
Jill Biden visited a school in New Jersey on Monday to promote the $130 billion that the plan gives to schools, while Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff made it to Las Vegas to visit a vaccination clinic. President Biden spoke in Pennsylvania and Georgia.
 
Their efforts are crucial, because the Republicans are both trying to shoot down the plan as a liberal wish list and take credit for the parts they like -- never mind that they did everything they could to shut it down, and not a single GOP member of Congress voted for it.
