Friend,

The 81st Nevada Legislative Session is heating up! Last week,
Assemblywoman Sandra Jauregui introduced AB286 in the Assembly Judiciary
Committee. We had tons of people call in to testify in support of the
bill. But, the gun lobby is organizing even harder to kill this bill.

If you haven’t heard of AB286, it allows businesses to opt-in to
prohibiting firearms on their properties. In addition, it bans the
manufacture, sale, and possession of unregistered, unlicensed, and
untraceable firearms known as “ghost guns.” This is a bill that will help
keep Nevada safe.

The next step for this bill will be for it to be moved out of the Assembly
Judiciary Committee. That’s where you come in. We need to show that
Nevadans care about keeping our communities safe. You can submit your
opinion about the bill via the legislative website.

Nevadans deserve to have safe places to live, recreate, and work. AB286
helps us achieve this goal. Letting the Assembly Judiciary Committee
members know you support this bill will help it move on to the next stage.
This is a quick, easy step you can take to make a difference in this
fight.

The opposition will try their best to make sure this bill never makes it
out of the committee. We will not let that happen but we need your
support! Submit your opinion today!

Best,
