- Pray for the IJM Ghana investigations team and law enforcement partners as they plan rescues. Pray that the children who have been identified as suspected trafficking victims would not be moved to new locations before rescue can arrive.
Latin America

Praise God for over 4,600 survivors of violence , 60% of whom are women and children, who have received governmental support in Guatemala in the past six months. On March 16, the Institute for Victim Care and Assistance (IAV by its acronym in Spanish) celebrated six months of restoring survivors of violence through its innovative Model for Holistic Assistance for Victims (MAIVI) — co-created by the government of Guatemala and IJM. Every day, victims of violence can receive free legal, psychological and medical support in one place! Pray for God's favor over all IAV staff members as they continue to protect and restore survivors of violence.
South Asia
- Please pray for breakthrough in our relationship with several top government agencies. Our teams have seen tremendous success working with local and state-level authorities, and now we really need buy-in and support from other powerful leaders to continue forward. Pray they would catch IJM's vision for ending trafficking and that they would be truly excited to partner with our teams in the future. Pray that we would find and rescue more fishermen quickly, and for great collaboration with local authorities as we work to help make this industry safe for all fishermen.
Southeast Asia
- Pray with us that God would continue to lead us to new cases and rescues for those trapped in forced labor slavery in the Thai fishing and seafood industry. Even in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, fishing in Thai waters is still continuing. The fishermen face increased risk not only from COVID-19, but also from non-payment of wages and forced labor as global demand for seafood dropped and local fishing businesses face negative impacts on their income.
