Recently, a candidate for Mayor said there were too few ways for young people to get involved in politics in NYC.
While this was once true, together we have created dozens of opportunities for young people to get involved in the last few years - and you have delivered results for progressive candidates across the borough.
Now and in the future, BYD will work hard for candidates in Democratic primaries and general election who earn the confidence of our diverse and discerning membership.
We have not yet decided how to engage with the upcoming NYC Mayoral primary. To begin these discussions, our Policy Committee will be examining the substantive policy positions of various candidates.
