As vaccinations continue to ramp up across the state, Governor Ducey announced more than one million Arizonans are officially fully vaccinated and a vaccination site in Yuma is expanding. The Governor this week also traveled to Douglas to discuss safety in border communities and across the state. Details below:

Governor Ducey Signs Legislation To Protect Minors Facing Mental Health Issues ([link removed])
Governor Ducey this week signed legislation to protect young Arizonans experiencing suicidal thoughts by allowing a manslaughter charge if an adult provides guidance that a minor uses to take their life. The legislation is in honor of Adrio Romine, a 17-year-old who tragically took his life after an adult on the internet encouraged and advised him.

CDC Report Gives Arizona High Marks For COVID-19 Vaccination In Areas With High Social Vulnerability ([link removed])
Arizona is one of only two states that had greater COVID-19 vaccination coverage in its counties with high social vulnerability than its counties with low social vulnerability across all metrics, according to the index.

Arizona Launching State-Supported COVID-19 Vaccination Site In Yuma Monday, March 29 ([link removed])
Launching Monday, the state-supported vaccination site will expand the capacity and hours of operation at the existing indoor Yuma Civic Center site to 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. It will offer around 8,000 appointments per week to start but is able to administer more than 4,000 doses per day.

More Than 1 Million Arizonans Now Fully Vaccinated Against COVID-19 ([link removed])
As of Tuesday, more than 1 million Arizonans—approximately one in seven residents—became fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Arizona is making plans to continue the momentum as temperatures heat up and in anticipation of increased vaccine supply and opening vaccination to everyone 16 and older by May 1.
