The special election in SD-38 is just four days away, and we need all the help we can get to make sure Virginians cast their ballots! We can flip this seat blue and set the tone for successful statewide elections later this year, but it’s going to require a lot of work between now and Tuesday.
Laurie Buchwald is a fantastic candidate. As a nurse practitioner and former Radford City Council member, she has the experience needed to help Virginia defeat COVID-19 and emerge from this crisis stronger than ever.
But right now Laurie’s extreme, far-right opponent has a cash-on-hand advantage of $103,484 thanks to the special interests that are pouring huge money into his campaign. If we don’t step up, that money could be enough to push him over the edge on Tuesday.
