BREAKING: "Kansas Senate passes bill banning transgender athletes in girl's, women's school sports"

This week, the Kansas Senate voted to pass legislation banning transgender athletes in girl's and women's school sports. This hateful, discriminatory legislation has no place in Kansas.

Legislation like this hurts transgender children across the state -- and impedes our fight for equity.. It's not only a massive step backward for inclusiveness in school athletics across the state, it's detrimental for the economic future of our state.

We must learn from other states that have already passed these kinds of regressive social policies. Many of them have lost the ability to attract and expand businesses and grow their economies -- and one Republican legislator even admitted this bill would sabotage Laura's plan to recruit new businesses in our state.

This legislation is a direct attack on Kansans across the state -- from the student athletes who are being discriminated against to the communities harmed by potential economic repercussions. We're fighting back and we hope you'll join us.
