Note from Chairman Stepanek Friend,
Thank you for your continued support as we advance strong strides for Granite Staters! This week I would like to invite you to attend our virtual Zoom fundraiser with the Honorable Mike Pompeo, taking place on March 29th. This fundraiser lends critical aid to our efforts to elect Bill Boyd as a State Representative in the Hillsborough District 21’s special election.
The Merrimack special election is a principal focus of the NHGOP in a continued campaign to strengthen our Republican leadership. The seat was last held by our own Speaker Dick Hinch, a deeply respected leader in our party who dedicated years to protecting conservative values. We are working tirelessly to ensure his legacy is preserved through our Republican candidate, to fight for his values.
Here in Concord, our Republican legislators have continued to work hard in expanding students’ educational freedom. Following Governor Chris Sununu's Executive Order to ensure students access to an in classroom education at least two days a week, our Republican Senate successfully advanced SB 130-FN. This bill provides Granite Staters access to education freedom accounts, giving parents the ability to choose the best possible academic opportunity for their child.
As a reminder, please encourage folks to subscribe to our newsletter, and if there’s anything you would like us to highlight, please reach out to [email protected]!
Sincerely, Stephen Stepanek NHGOP Chairman

Note from House Majority Leader Jason Osborne & Rep Judy Aron: Concord, NH- NH House Majority Leader Jason Osborne (R-Auburn) and Rep. Judy Aron (R-Acworth) released the following statements in response to NH House Democratic Leader Renny Cushing (D-Hampton) referring to the majority as “the most radical group of rejectionists that have assembled in the House in our history.”
House Majority Leader Jason Osborne:
“I’d like to take a moment to remind the Democratic Leader of reality. We’ve only held one session day to vote on legislation and House Democrats spent their entire day voting ‘no.’ They reject expanding education choice to allow parents a say in where their children attend school. They reject any tax relief and want to leave our small businesses struggling. They reject basic decorum and respect for their fellow legislators. They also reject showing up and performing the job their constituents elected them to do, and instead file frivolous lawsuits that the courts reject.”
“What does the Majority reject? We reject higher taxes on our citizens, including a sales and income tax. We reject increased mandates and taxes on our businesses that are struggling through the pandemic. We reject forcing students to stay in a school where they are struggling. We reject infringing upon the basic liberties of NH citizens. If the 2020 election proved anything, it’s that the citizens of New Hampshire reject these policies as well.”
Rep. Judy Aron:
“If I am going to be labeled a rejectionist by the Democratic Leader, I’d like to be clear on what it is I reject. I reject their assumption that everyone is a racist. I reject their attacks on those who do not agree with them, their ‘cancel culture,’ and their pursuit of squelching free thought and free speech. I reject their desire to disarm us all. I reject their desire to continue to increase our taxes until New Hampshire is indistinguishable from Massachusetts or California. I reject their desire to dismantle law and order. I reject their desire to ignore the Constitution; their need to erase history. But most of all, I reject their policies of divisiveness that perpetuates hate for our neighbor.”

Senator Spotlight: Meet Denise Ricciardi of District 9 Our first Senator Spotlight highlights District 9's Denise Ricciardi of Bedford, New Hampshire!
Denise is a long standing community leader and volunteer, but her most recent legislation as Senator has expressed a true dedication to Granite Staters. In her first term, she advocated to bring critical funding back into local businesses, to the added benefit of all New Hampshire residents with SB99. The bill puts a financial cap on the annual increase of the state's Meals & Rooms Tax, ensuring that proper funds are redistributed back to their municipals. To see more on SB99, look to the official Senate news release below. Thank you Senator Ricciardi for being an empowering female leader who prioritizes her community!
