Hi team,

This week, the House will begin action on both the American Dream and Promise Act and the Farm Workforce Modernization Act.

These bills are expected to have an uphill battle in the Senate, with the filibuster looking more and more likely.

The American Dream and Promise Act would create a pathway to legal status for Dreamers. The legislation would grant conditional permanent resident status for ten years and cancel removal proceedings if people meet specific requirements. 74% of Americans favor a law that would provide permanent legal status to immigrants who came to the U.S. illegally as children.

But even with that type of overwhelming support, the GOP will likely pull out all the stops -- including the filibuster -- to crush any chance of immigration reform.

We need to know where our supporters stand on immigration as we fight for a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers. Please, let us know:
