At the beginning of March, we set an ambitious goal of 100 new recurring donors by the end of the month; this is essential to take our party to the next level. We believe in aiming big, because we know that Mainers show up in big ways. But our Development Director, Jeff, just gave me an update, and we still have a ways to go.

As of today, 16 folks have set up new recurring gifts. Getting to 100 might seem like a big lift, but Jeff and I know Mainers and we know you always rally!

Help us reach our goal of 100 new recurring donors in March by making a monthly gift of $5, $10, or what best fits into your life right now.

Making change in electoral politics is a marathon, not a sprint. We need sustainable sources of funding throughout the year, even when the headlines and TV ads are (thankfully) a little less frequent. Recurring donors make it possible for us to plan and budget throughout the year to make sure we go into each election prepared and ready. With your help, we can keep this terrific Democratic momentum going!

It’s pretty amazing that just a few bucks a month can help make our state more just, more kind, more blue.

With 13 days (including today) left in the month, we need to average almost 7 donors a day. Maybe in another state, that would be a tough goal. But we’re in Maine! And we know in a state filled with big-hearted folks, it’s possible.
