Travel update in Nottingham 19 March - 26 March

bending the rules costs lives
Stay home to save lives

We're on the road to recovery [ [link removed] ] and one step closer towards restrictions lifting, but that doesn't mean we can start bending the rules.

Current Government orders are to stay home as much as possible, only leaving for essential reasons and outdoors exercise/recreation with your household or support bubble. Bending the rules costs lives, so don't start now.

Walking and cycling

*Valley Road pedestrian and cycle improvements*

We're carrying out works to replace fencing, widen the footway to provide a continuous shared path, and resurfacing, along Valley Road, between its junctions with Mansfield Road and Hucknall Road.

From Monday 22 March:

* Off-peak lane closures will be in place on the park side between 9.30am and 3.30pm to allow the works to be carried out safely
* The footpath within the construction area will be closed at all times. Pedestrians and cyclists will need to cross the road and use the opposite footpath, which will be made shared use during this time.
