Friends,
This week I voted against and explained the problems with Democrat bill HR6 - The "DREAM" Act. This bill would only worsen the crisis at hand on our southern border, and negatively impact those who are legally seeking citizenship. It's time that the Biden administration admit to the reality we are facing in our country.
Please reach out to my offices if you have a concern, want to hear what we’re working on in Congress, or are having trouble with a federal agency. I have a full team in Texas and in the nation's capital ready to assist you. Be sure to stay up to date by following me on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
Sincerely,

Biden loves to talk about “compassion” when it comes to open border policies. But there’s nothing compassionate about bankrolling drug cartels, cutting in front of legal immigrants and legitimate asylum seekers, and encouraging families to give their kids to human smugglers. There is a real crisis at the border and the Biden administration won't admit to it.

It's time for our leaders in the Armed Forces to push back against the wokeism, because America's national security depends on its military maintaining a mission-focused, merit-based system of operations. To help us with this conversation, we're joined by Congressman Michael Waltz. He's a Green Beret who has served his country his entire life.

Washington Examiner: How Dan Crenshaw and Elon Musk want to fix Texas's energy grid
Since the deep freeze that brought down the Texas energy grid, causing millions of Texans to freeze in the dark, a variety of fixes have been proposed to ensure that such an event never happens again. For example, Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a Republican, has proposed measures to encourage the building of nuclear power plants. He proposes streamlining the permitting process for new nuclear power plants and allowing the government to cosign loans to finance their construction. He aims to encourage the development of advanced nuclear power technology as well.
