So far, we’ve received input from over 10,000 members of this community. Here are the main findings.
The top issues that survey-takers are most passionate about:
- #1 — The climate crisis. More than two-thirds of respondents named this as one of their most important issues.
- #2 — Voting rights and election reform.
- Pandemic relief and health care rounded out the list.
When it comes to addressing these challenges, a clear majority believe that we need to look nationally and locally. Additionally, many agreed that highlighting both legislative priorities as well as specific candidates for office was needed. Most respondents are willing to contact their representatives, and many showed interest in remote volunteer opportunities as well as fundraising for progressive causes. We will continue to keep this team updated on the key issues, share helpful resources, and provide easy ways to take action.
Many of the survey takers also expressed optimism and hope for the future. After an incredibly difficult year, the positivity coming from this community has been so inspiring.
