Together with several of my House colleagues, I pushed for a large-scale recovery program for our restaurants and hospitality venues. That’s why I’m thrilled that earlier this month Governor Wolf announced a $145 million relief grant program for businesses in the hospitality industry that were affected by Covid-19.
This past year has been marked by unprecedented problems that required innovative solutions. While I’m pleased to see this particular program go into effect (along with the recent passage of the American Rescue Plan), there are so many more problems caused by Covid-19 that still need to be addressed.
That’s why I will keep fighting to deliver bold, tangible, and equitable solutions that will improve material living conditions for people across the Commonwealth.
