Stacey Abrams just gave a stark warning about GA's new voting bill by calling it a “redux of Jim Crow in a suit and tie.”
Abrams was asked about Georgia state bills that would end automatic voter registration and limit voting by mail and Sunday voting, all steps that experts say disproportionately target Black voters who tend to vote for Democrats. Her answer was simple: it's racist. And she's right. Just as CNN reports, the GOP is focusing their efforts to make it harder to vote in states that decided the 2022 election -- states where record numbers of people of color turned out to vote.
