Friend, thank you so much for testing your Water IQ earlier this week!
I’m writing with another chance to unlock 50 cents to stop pollution and protect clean water with our SECOND trivia question!
Ready for round 2? Try your luck to earn ANOTHER 50 cents to support action for clean water!
Question 2:
About 250,000 tons of tiny plastic pellets are lost in our oceans every year. They litter delicate ecosystems, poison sea life, and wash up on our shores. Do you know what they are called?
A. Nurdles ([link removed])
B. Nodles C. Noodles ([link removed])
These pellets weigh a fraction of an ounce a piece, but their impact is anything but light.
Researchers have determined that the pellets can contain concentrations of toxins up to 10 million times greater than what’s found in seawater.
Waterkeeper Alliance is organizing concerned citizens, advocating at the federal level, and demanding plastic producers take responsibility for this toxic waste.
And, if you take part in our World Water Day trivia series, you could unlock 50 cents for this work … if you answer correctly. So, what do you think?
About 250,000 tons of tiny plastic pellets are lost in our oceans every year. What are they called?
A. Nurdles ([link removed])
B. Nodles C. Noodles ([link removed])
Our fingers are crossed for you!

Deputy Director
