Stop Anti-Asian Hate

Dear Friend,

Our hearts are with the families and communities of the irreplaceable individuals lost in Atlanta Tuesday night.

Discrimination and violence against Asian American communities have been major issues in American society for centuries. News coverage and political rhetoric leveled against our Asian brothers and sisters since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic have only made this worse.

3,800 anti-Asian racist incidents were reported over the past year, and 68% of them were against women. 503 of these incidents have taken place in 2021 alone.

Let us be clear: there is nothing worth rationalizing over with Tuesday’s act of violence. Hate is hate, and we must work to root it out of our society and seek love and acceptance for all.

Let’s take care of each other. Let’s learn from each other. And let’s accept each other for who we all are - humans.
