With this week’s official introduction of the For the People Act (S. 1) in the Senate, the Far Right’s disinformation machine has amped up its campaign to discredit this vital legislation and prevent it from becoming law.
Across the country, states are still pushing anti-voting rights bills through their statehouses, and falsehoods about the For the People Act are starting to inundate Capitol hallways. We need you to help us keep up the pressure on your senators so that they know how highly we value our democracy and the protections this bill will provide.

This groundbreaking bill would stop many right-wing attacks on voting in their tracks, and would strengthen our democracy in other critically needed ways, like limiting the influence of Big Money in politics and establishing new ethics standards for all government officials.
We fought hard to get this historic and desperately needed package of reforms to the very top of this Congress’s agenda and passed through the House of Representatives. Now we need to work together to shore up the votes to pass it in the Senate and get it onto President Biden’s desk before the Far Right can fully enact their voter suppression tactics!
