Yes, I’m emailing you to ask for money again. Yes, you hear from me and many other candidates around this time every quarter. That’s because it’s important that, when we release our quarterly numbers, we’re able to show how strong and motivated this grassroots movement is.

Because that’s exactly what this is – a powerful movement. Everyone’s going to be watching to see how much my opponents and I raise. And, more importantly, the people of Alabama are going to see these dollars in action as we continue to spread our message and run our campaign. We have to stop the divisiveness that is being used by Mitch McConnell and others to pull us apart. And stand together as One Alabama. Black and White, rural and urban — all of us finding all that we have in common, respecting each other and coming together to reject the dividers. Will you help us and chip in now?

We say One Alabama because, in our hearts, we really want the same things. There’s more we have in common than there are things that divide us. And we are tired of politicians exploiting our differences and dividing us just to get ahead.

When it comes down to it, this race is about who we are and how we connect with people. I pledge to you that I will always amplify the voices of the people, that I will defend the rights of everyone, and that I will never forget where I came from or who I work for.

Serving Alabama in the Senate is the greatest honor and privilege of my life. I’m looking forward to everything we’ll be able to accomplish after our victory next November – and I’m asking you to stand with me and send one simple message to anyone who thinks we won’t make history again:
