Hello DCC members, fellow Democrats, and active community members! Our next DCC meeting will take place tomorrow, July 16th at a NEW LOCATION!

Where: El Dorado County Office of Education (Conference Room G) 6767 Green Valley Rd, Placerville, CA 95667
Time: 630p-7p social / 7p-9p meeting
Guest speakers:
* BOS 2 Supervisor Shiva Frenzten to discuss El Dorado County effort on Broadband (7-7:15pm)
* Fire Chief Ogan on the importance of Measure B for El Dorado County (7:15-7:20pm)

This past month was a busy month as the El Dorado County Democratic Party continues to work on the local issues that are important to our community. This month's focus was fire insurance. A letter was sent to the BOS and was followed by a tremendous outpouring of community voices on the issue of fire insurance. For over an hour the public forum heard countless different stories of the financial and community cost that this crisis is causing.
