Last week, we told you our goal: to drive out the 147 Republicans in Congress who voted not to certify the 2020 presidential election, just hours after far-right militants stormed and sacked the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.

We know you'd never, but just in case you forgot what we're up against…

Now, we want to tell you who we are.

The folks behind Operation 147 have been at the forefront of progressive campaigns and causes for decades. Our team includes Democratic campaign consultant Joe Trippi, along with campaign strategists Paul Maslin, John Fairbank, Dave Metz and Jacqueline Basha, are seasoned strategists who have helped elect dozens of Democrats to office from City Halls to the White House.

How are we going to do it?

First, we’re going to ensure that no one forgets the 147 and their acts of sedition. We’ll go after them on social media, in the press, in their own districts and on the national stage. By keeping the January 6th attack central in the public conversation, we’ll remind their constituents of the lasting damage the 147 caused, motivate inspiring and electable Democrats to run against them, and show the country that these traitors must never be in the majority again.

We’ll be frank: Democrats have to play defense next year. Redistricting is likely going to cost us seats. We are going to have to take the fight to Republicans if we’re going to keep the majority and keep the 147 OUT of it. That’s where you come in.
