Endangered species everywhere are in danger
Hi John,

The Trump administration is changing how the federal government implements the Endangered Species Act. More than 1,600 species, including many fish and river-dependent animals protected under the Act are now at risk. Animals like the North American manatee, currently listed as "Threatened" on the list, are most vulnerable.

We need to do more to protect endangered species, not roll back the protections we already have!

Help us protect endangered river wildlife

The new rules limit protection for "threatened" species, bringing economic considerations into list decisions that should be based solely on science, and strictly limit consideration of climate change in species listing and protection decisions.

We fight for rivers, not just because of their value to you and me, but because rivers create irreplaceable ecosystems that support bird, fish and animal life, that could all now be threatened with the new rules.

Take a stand with us to protect endangered birds, fish and animals!

Wildlife like the North American manatee don’t have a voice – it’s our job to speak up for them. Please make a gift today so that we can defend these animals, and the rivers they call home.

Thank you again for all that you do for rivers,
