Friend, we have great news:

"Senate confirms Xavier Becerra to lead HHS"
"Becerra, the first Latino to lead the department, is now in charge of overseeing the country's response to the coronavirus pandemic while executing much of the Biden administration's health agenda."
- Axios

President Biden has entrusted now-HHS Secretary Becerra to lead one of the most powerful and important federal agencies, because he has been an unflinching, long-serving champion for the most vulnerable among us.

To celebrate, we wanted to send a congratulations card to Secretary Becerra on his historic confirmation. Will you add your name to congratulate Secretary Becerra?

Secretary Becerra has spent his entire career helping vulnerable communities and families access the health care they deserve.

As Congressman, he helped write the Affordable Care Act, fighting tooth and nail for its passage. And as California's Attorney General, he led a coalition of Democratic AGs in intervening in the GOP attempt to overthrow the ACA, taking the fight all the way to the Supreme Court - to make sure nobody loses coverage during this pandemic and beyond.

Secretary Becerra is the Health and Human Services Secretary that we need, especially as COVID-19 continues to rampage through struggling communities, and we're so proud that he was nominated and confirmed.

Add your name to tell Secretary Becerra congratulations on his historic confirmation!

Thanks,
DAGA
