Dear John,

The month of March marks one year since the World Health Organization
declared a global pandemic, and it is a time of taking stock of the immense
challenges we have faced, honor those we have lost, and look to the work
ahead toward a more just, equitable world free of plastic pollution.

Years of work and advocacy have led to a historic upcoming moment. On
Thursday, March 25, the U.S. BREAK FREE FROM PLASTIC POLLUTION ACT OF 2021
[8]will be officially introduced! Mark your calendar to join the VIRTUAL
RALLY ON MARCH 25 and sign up for our WEBINAR ON MARCH 31 [7] to learn more
about this common-sense, comprehensive plan to reduce plastic pollution,
and first-of-its-kind federal legislation addressing the entire lifecycle
of plastic.
