BY CARRIE N. BAKER | On Wednesday, the U.S. House voted to remove an arbitrary timeline for Equal Rights Amendment’s ratification. Feminists celebrated the fact that the U.S. is one Senate floor vote away from adding the ERA into the Constitution, “so that the current generation and all future generations will not face persistent sex discrimination, but rather will have new opportunities under the law.”
