The progress we’ve made already isn’t too much of a surprise. After all, it was this team that raised over $750,000 in a single day -- helping Peter and our team put hundreds of staff members on the ground across the country. Raising twice that amount over the course of this week will really turbocharge our campaign. For real. Have you seen the pictures of our organizers at the Polk County Steak Fry? We need more amazing humans like them on the ground.

So now the pressure is on. And by pressure, I don’t mean the campaign will shut down if we don’t raise $1.5 million by 11:59 p.m. tonight. I mean the pressure you feel when you want to live up to a team that means so much to you -- a team that makes you feel so hopeful for the future. It’s an inspirational kind of pressure. I feel it a lot when I’m out on the campaign trail -- and today, we’re all feeling it.

With that being said *cue the sirens and countdown clock* here’s one final ask, from me to you: Will you please chip in a donation of $3 now as we near the end of quarter three? Peter’s fundraising numbers from Q3 will be public, and raising this $1.5 million will show our team’s all in to win this thing and put even more resources on the ground in early states.
