Exciting news, John!

Yesterday the US House of Representatives removed the arbitrary time limit on the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), and now it’s on to the Senate!

Will you take a moment to send a note of thanks to Speaker Pelosi for her leadership in winning this vote for putting the ERA in the Constitution?

The House has taken a critical step, but there is still more work to do. The Senate must remove the time limit too.

We are grateful for Speaker Pelosi’s leadership in seeing this critical House vote through, and we salute every co-sponsor for their essential support.

But our work is not done. We must now focus on the Senate so that future generations will not face persistent sex discrimination, but rather will have new opportunities under the law.

We must not rest. It’s up to us to see this through and get the job done.
